Combating Waterborne Diseases

In a report published by UNESCO on behalf of UN-Water, over 2 billion people (26% of the population) do not have safe drinking water and 3.6 billion (46%) lack access to safely managed sanitation globally. This unavailability of clean water could also create an incidence of water-borne diseases, especially in poor communities.

GCVSI uses the following strategies to take care of this:
