GCVSI is a not-for-profit and charitable organization that secures its funding from different sources.
Membership fees:
Members support our work, including one-off registration fee payment, which varies according between the developing and developed countries.
Dues: Annual membership dues equal to one’s registration category is also a source of funding even though very little is gotten from that source to drive programs and projects. However, dues collection is just a way to validate one’s membership.
Voluntary Donations:
GCVSI relies much on donations from members of the public and corporations to support its activities.
Grants:
GCVSI may apply for a call for proposal as much as the call falls within its thematic areas of operations.
Financial Request:
GCVSI may solicit financial support from individuals, corporate bodies, and international development partners to support our programs.
Collaboration:
GCVSI may receive funding from partners during collaborative ventures. GCVSI has a standard partnership procedure; see GCVSI Services: Partnerships for more details.
Capacity-building activities:
The primary source in this area is GCVSI’s training of Civil Society Organizations to promote competencies and best practices. Read more

There are plenty of benefits to making a donation to our NGO.
- Donations are tax deductible.
- 90% of all donations go to support our efforts and services.
- Donations are accepted online, via mail, phone or fax.
